Paul England	We hired a villa for our annual three week vacation in Florida, but a volcano extended our stay by another couple of weeks! Needed to move for our last 5 nights and discovered Venitian Bay after the management company did a special offer for folks who were stranded. Donna from Choice Vacation Homes has been excellent, arranging a viewing at short notice, rapid rental, early admission to the home and in dealing with any issues that we had. Having read the other reviews we were a bit aprehensive about Venitian Bay, but we are really glad that we came and had a look. The management company had just commenced the management of the unit we hired and it was excellent from the start. Our unit is on the edge of the development, near one of the pools and very quiet. The village is just off the 192 on Hoagland, so ideally placed to explore the area. It is a gated community with 24/7 security on the gate and regular patrols by security staff. Any problems and staff are available and very friendly. The estate has felt very safe during our stay. We noted one previous post had mentioned sirens, there is a fire station just down the road on Hoagland, but we have not heard anything during our stay. The village has a very swish club house, three pools, gym and tennis courts etc. There is a central lake area and the gounds are well maintained. The house we rented is three bedrooms: master bedroom with huge bed, ensuite / whirlpool bath, family room, diner and kitchen downstairs; second bath and two bedrooms upstairs. Furnishings are very good throught the home and it has every amenity that you could possibly want or need on vacation. The air con system is one of the best we've ever had in a home and we even turned it up as we were feeling cold! The rooms also have celing fans. Very fast wireless internet in the home and also an eathernet cable if you want to connect the old fashioned way. Also fitted with bright house cable, including on demand and numeruos channels. Overall a great base if you are visiting for the first time, providing a clean, safe and comfortable place to explore from.

Ann Marie USA	Dear Donna, We really enjoyed the two weeks we spent in the condo at Windsor Hills. The condo was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Windsor Hills itself is a very nice, family-oriented resort. We appreciated the fact that it had good security and was quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and admired the nicely landscaped surroundings. Windsor Hills was very central to all the places we wanted to go in Orlando during our stay. Relax, enjoy a free cigar and beer, get a free day's entry to Walt Disney World and other famous amusement parks, or cash in on an additional free seat for a local swamp tour. Retailers, theme park operators and hoteliers in Orlando, one of the top tourist destinations on the planet, are looking to ease the pain of thousands of stranded foreign travelers with a raft of 'freebies,' discounts and cut-price promotions. The website of the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc has created a special link window, called European Air Service Disruption Offers, to list its promotions for frustrated fliers blocked by the ash cloud air crisis. The tourist travel disruption comes as Orlando's economy struggles to regain its footing in the aftermath of the economic downturn. In recent weeks, bond rating agencies Fitch and Standard & Poor's downgraded the city's debt tied to tourist tax revenues. The Corona Cigar Company in the heart of Orlando's tourist district is offering stranded European Union passengers a free cigar and beer to help them pass the time. "Come by, have a cigar, maintain your sanity and take your mind off your worry about the situation with the volcano," said Jeff Borysiewicz, owner of the Corona Cigar Store. Major theme parks in Orlando -- Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld -- and many smaller attractions such as water parks, boat rides and golf courses were offering free admission tickets to all those who could prove they had canceled or disrupted flights. Restaurants were serving up free and discounted food and hotels and managers of vacation homes were dropping rates. Tourism officials say an average of 38,000 European visitors are in Orlando on any given day, and thousands were believed to have been stranded by the ash cloud crisis. Donna Sticht, a British resort property manager who relocated to Florida six years ago, said she expected more stranded tourists to use the discounts as the days passed. By Tuesday morning, Sticht said she had rented townhomes to four stranded families at a break-even price, and some tourists told her they had been told by their airline to be prepared to stay until May 2. "They (the tourists) spend all their money the last week of vacation and then, 'Oh my gosh, what are we going to do now?'" Sticht said, referring to the extra costs squeezing many blocked fliers. No estimates were available on whether the money spent by stranded tourists would make up for the losses from overseas vacationers who could not get from Europe to Orlando. "Sometimes it's not about money. Sometimes you just have to help people and that's what we're trying to do right now," Sticht said. Lori Brubaker Tink's Retreat, Windsor Palms	We rented Tink's retreat for two weeks and couldn't be happier with our stay! The condo was clean, spacious, quiet, safe, close to all the major attractions and a great value! Two thumbs up!

	We had a wonderful stay at your condo! Everything was just like the pictures showed--Windsor Hills is a lovely, safe, gated community, with beautiful landscaping and very convenient to the Orlando area. Being on the first floor on a corner made it convenient and bright. We found the condo very clean and welcoming with the table set ready for guests--nice touch! Everything we needed was there, and even found we could pick up the internet on your porch! The facilities were just great--we went in the hot tub almost every day, and when our granddaughter visited, she choose to swim at the pool rather than go to the amusement park! Mother nature co-operated too, as Orlando was breaking records in the 80's for February. We certainly would be interested in returning next year.
